EEG or electroencephalogram (Dr Kevers)

Painless and non invasive, EEG is an exam that measures your brain’s electric activity via electrodes placed on the patient’s scalp. The recording device then converts the electric pulses into graphic patterns.
The doctor can then obtain a diagnosis on certain neurological disease. The EEG lasts 30 minutes (10 minutes of preparation and 20 minutes for the actual examination).

EMG or electromyography (Dr Kevers)

EMG is an exam consisting in recording the neural pathways and the muscle’s electric activity via electrodes placed on the skin.
It informs on the sensori-motor neural pathway’s functioning and on the muscular activity.
It lasts about 20 minutes.

Carotid doppler ultrasonography or neck blood vessels doppler ultrasonography (Dr Kevers)

An echo-doppler assists in studying the blood flow and the anatomy of the carotids with an ultrasound probe. Painless, the echo-doppler lasts about 15 minutes.
It allows diagnosing arterial pathologies: malformations, stenoses…

Transcranial doppler ultrasonography (Dr Kevers)
Mentioned potentials (visuals, auditory, sensory) (Dr Kevers)
